Disabled Parking
Access to the car park is via the Aglionby Loop Road. Please follow the signs to the forward car park near the public entrance.
Disabled permits must be clearly displayed. Access to the dedicated parking area is available only to registered disabled drivers or their carers. Please note that parking spaces cannot be reserved once the designated area is full, visitors will be directed to the main parking areas.
The site is entirely grass with no hard walkways; however, we do our best to ensure that grass avenues are well maintained to aid movement around the Show. Some areas have slight slopes, so a degree of effort may be required when pushing a wheelchair.
Entry for Disabled Visitors & Carers
We warmly welcome disabled visitors of all ages to the Cumberland Show. Standard entry fees apply, but one accompanying carer is admitted free of charge.
Carer tickets are provided on the understanding that the disabled visitor would be unable to attend the Show without their support.
You can obtain a carer ticket at any gate on the day of the Show. Please bring proof of care requirement, such as:
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Carer’s Allowance
- Blue Badge registration number
Disabled Toilets
Accessible toilets are available on-site and clearly marked in the free Show Guide, which you will receive upon admission.
