Cumberland Show 2024

Disabled Access

Disabled Parking

Access to the car park is via the Aglionby Loop Road then follow signs to the forward car park by the public entrance.

Disabled permits must be clearly visible and access to the dedicated parking will only be granted to registered disabled drivers or their carers. Parking spaces cannot be reserved therefore once the designated area is full visitors will be directed to the main parking areas.

The site is entirely grass with no hard walkways however we try to ensure that the grass avenues are well maintained to aid access around the Show.  Additionally there are some slight slopes, which means that some degree of effort is required to push a wheelchair around the Show.

Entry for Disabled Visitors & Carers

We welcome disabled visitors of all ages to the Cumberland Show, normal entry fees will apply however an accompanying carer will be admitted free of charge. Carers are admitted for free on the understanding that the disabled visitor would be unable to attend the Show without them.

You can obtain a carer ticket at any of our gates on the day of the Show and you will be required to supply proof of care requirement, such as Personal Independence Payment, Disability Living Allowance, Carers Allowance or Blue Badge Registration number.
