Cumberland Show 2017

Disabled Access

Disabled Parking

The main car park via Gate 3 is the designated disabled car park for the Cumberland Show.

Access to the car park is from the Wreay Road and directions will be clearly indicated on the direction signs on all approach roads.

Disabled permits must be clearly visible and access to the forward parking will only be granted to registered disabled drivers or their carers. Parking spaces cannot be reserved therefore once the designated area is full visitors will be directed to the main parking areas.

The site is entirely grass with no hard walkways however we try to ensure that the grass avenues are well maintained to aid access around the Show.  Additionally there are some slight slopes, which means that some degree of effort is required to push a wheelchair around the Show.

Entry for Disabled Visitors & Carers

We welcome disabled visitors of all ages to the Cumberland Show, normal entry fees will apply however an accompanying carer will be admitted free of charge. Carers are admitted for free on the understanding that the disabled visitor would be unable to attend the Show without them.

You can obtain a carer ticket at any of our gates on the day of the Show and you will be required to supply proof of care requirement, such as Personal Independence Payment, Disability Living Allowance, Carers Allowance or Blue Badge Registration number.

Mobility Scooters

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are now unable to provide mobility scooters for the 2017 Show. Wheelchairs will be available.

Disabled Toilets

Accessible toilets are available and are clearly shown in the free Show Guide available on admission.
